The first week has come to an end. It’s been a busy week, I arrived Friday night and the next day I got some cake, since it had been my 18^th birthday a couple of days before. After eating cake, we went to Manly where I took a couple of pictures. Sunday we went to Chatswood by bus to get my Australian phone number and to see where the library and mall are. On Monday it was Mia’s 4^th birthday, so we went to an animal farm where we fed the animals and where Bella and Mia milked a cow and rode a pony. They also got to hold some ducklings and rabbits. Afterwards we went to their grandparents home, where I met Joss her family. Tuesday we went into Chatswood again, but this time to open a bank account and do some groceries. Wednesday Bella and Mia had to go to day care for the first time this week. Me and Jeff dropped them of and I stayed at home during the day, since it was raining nonstop. Thursday Bella and Mia had to go to day care again and this time I went to Chatswood while they were there. I went to Target to get a warm blanket for in my room, since it’s quite cold during de night and morning (they don’t have central heating in Australia…). Friday was the meet up with other au pairs in Sydney. It was a big group of au pairs, most of them were from Germany. Me and a couple of other girls decided to meet up the next day for dinner. Saturday started with a lunch with Joss’ family for Father’s day, which is next weekend. After that I went to Circular Quay where I had dinner with four other au pairs, after dinner we went to Darling Harbour where we watched the fireworks. Today we had Mia’s birthday party for her friends, which was a lot of fun but also quite exhausting. So I’m going to bed now
